New Kid On The Block

So my first day at my new job was a complete success. And that's all you'll probably ever hear me talk about work on this blog, because that's not really what this blog is about. But I had a great day, and just thought you should know. You should know, however, that I'm going to be traveling a ton with this new position, so y'all won't mind if I occasionally blog from Shanghai, will you? Hope not!
Everyone was super nice, and I can tell that I already fit right in. Not like those Carrots, Potatoes and People from the cartoon above!
Best yet, my commute is half what it used to be, so I even had time to run on my new treadmill this morning. I'm going to keep it up and can't wait to get back in tip-top shape. I also had time to make coffee in my French press, AND juice a bunch of carrots and an orange for a tasty breakfast drink.
With all of the traveling I have coming up, I've been working on strengthening my immune system. I went to Whole Foods yesterday and splurged on some probiotics that are shelf-stable for traveling, and I also picked up some Immune Support vitamins. I figure I'll need all the help I can get, considering a cross-country trip here in the States left me with a cold. (Which is much better, all things considered...only once today did I look down to find snot on my arm, a complete casualty of blowing my nose every ten minutes all day long!)
Hope you are all having a fantastic week!

XOXO,

  4. Sounds like you've definitely started a new chapter in your life. I'm with lynn, I want to know more about what you're doing. It sounds very exciting -- sounds as though you're becoming more of a buyer.
