In an unrelated story, Welcome New Followers! So glad to have you! It's almost New Year's Eve, and so I thought I throw together a completely random post for you, to highlight what fun you are all going to have being a follower of Living and Loving in L.A. in 2010, and re-cap a little of who I am and what I'm all about.
For one, I talk a lot about what I eat. Like tonight, this is what I had for dinner:
I try to be as healthy as possible, and 95% of the time this means avoiding certain things like dairy and wheat. For one, I'm allergic to it. Doesn't mean I avoid it completely, but when I do eat wheat, I get hives. Itchy little bumps. Not fun. So I try to "be good" and just go G-free. (Thanks, Elisabeth Hasselbeck for giving me that wonderful term, even if I don't agree with anything else you say.) I also feel better when I avoid dairy, having a sensitive stomach and all, and I avoid meat since I think animals are people and not food. This little animal person in particular, has my heart in her little paws:
I also run. Even though I haven't been running a lot lately, this is about to change, as my next half-marathon is a week and a half away. You read that right. I have not been training for this, but I did run a full marathon last October. I know Running Buddy Selena and I will be fine. We survived 26.2, I think we can survive 13.1. Here's us after 26.2. Tired, but still perky:
After all, I really only run so that I can do more important things with out feeling as guilty, like drinking. I love a good cocktail. (Just kidding, Mom!)
Additionally, I write a little bit about a lot of other things. I'm so glad you are here, and hope you'll stick around.
And don't forget to enter my Dr. McDougall's Soup giveaway! It's pretty much the coolest giveaway ever!!!
