I have a nervous lump in my throat. Actually, who am I kidding, I have a nervous feeling in my whole body. I'm sitting here right now eating a bowl of Optimum Slim cereal with a banana and some almond milk, as I have forgone my usual Marathon Week breakfast for something a bit lighter. I'm officially feeling good and glycogen-stuffed from all the carbs, and I know Running Buddy Selena and I are going to be good about finding ourselves some yummy pasta this weekend, so I'm no longer the carbo-loading maniac I was earlier in the week. And I've loaded up on my Vitamin C to keep my fragile immune system in check. I'm actually all packed and ready to go (which was a difficult feat considering I had to pack while completely covered in Bubble Wrap.):By the way, this is going to be my last post until I get back Monday afternoon. I know the suspense is going to be killing you as to how the marathon went, and so I give you all my Twitter page. Are you a follower yet? I'll be updating it all weekend, and posting grainy pictures from my cell phone to my page too. You'll at least know via Twitter whether or not I made it.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend. And if by some chance, Sunday morning rolls around and you aren't doing anything, could you please say a little prayer/knock on some wood/and/or send me some good vibes? I'd really appreciate it!
Next post? Marathon Re-Cap and our weekend in San Francisco!
