It's Not Only About The Dress
Let's not forget that when I'm not dodging FedEx trucks, reviewing lollipops, drinking beer at 9:30 in the morning, baking finger-less cupcakes for The Boyfriend and running a million miles a week, I make my living as a fashion designer. I asked The Boyfriend last night, "What do you think my blog is about? I mean, if you could describe it in one sentence, what would you say?"
He told me he'd have to get back to me.
In the meantime, I'd like to say thank you to you, dear reader, for whatever got you here, to this blog, and made you stay long enough to read this sentence.
Coco Chanel once said, “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
I couldn't agree more.
I'd like to think of my little blog as being all encompassing in what matters most to me. It's a little bit of everything. I look at my blog like a collection, with different styles and themes and ideas, and I hope you'll stick around--season after season.
